You can also use part of this session to be coached on a particular subject and experience what coaching is really about. The Discovery Session
Our very first coaching session is called the Discovery Session. Upon scheduling this 90 minute session, you will receive the Discovery Packet with the Client Questionnaire and Exercises that will get you started in your discovery journey.
During the actual session, we will establish where you are now, identify your core values (what they mean to you, and the presence or absence of these values in your life), clarify your Life Purpose, and talk about where you would like to be in 6 months, 1 year, etc.
If you have come for mentor coaching, we will also assess where you are with the ICF core competencies.
The Discovery Session is designed to start our coaching relationship with a solid foundation. This is also a wonderful way for you to get clear about many aspects of your life.
Monthly Coaching Format
All coaching sessions are conducted over the telephone or zoom unless we make other arrangements in advance. The coaching session is your time. You will get the most out of each session if you are on time and talk in a private, quiet, comfortable location where you will not be interrupted. The session length choices are 45 min and 60 min. The frequency ranges from 1 to 4 times a month. We will decide on the length and frequency based on your needs and budget.
E-mail is a great way to keep in touch between our coaching sessions and report on action points. Clients find this a great motivational tool and it helps with accountability. I offer e-mail support to each and every one of my clients, at no extra cost.
